Kwara State Government on Thursday delivered palliative items to People living with disability in the state to cushion effects of Lockdown for prevention of Coronavirus spread.
Kwara COVID-19 Palliative Committee delivered food items to the group following directive of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in response to their request for support.
The palliative items include Rice 100 Bags (50kg), Semo 500 bags, Noodles 50 packs, Salt 55 bags and Pasta 55 packs.
The Joint National Association of people living with Disability is expected to distribute the food items to their members in three senatorial districts of the state.
The Kwara State Chairman of Joint National Association of people living with Disability, Comrade Yusuf Bashir and Leader of People living with Disability in Kwara State, Comrade Agbojulogun Moshood commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for catering for their members welfare amidst COVID-19 pandemic.
They described the governor as a sincere, responsive, kindhearted and responsible leader, calling on their members to continue to comply with lockdown directives.
